The Third "Need to Bead"!

We have finally settled into the Second Saturday (July 9) of the month for our monthly get together. 

As usual we will get together, chat, bead, and figure out your beading problems!

Please drop by between 12:30 to 4:00. The Shop will be open as usual 11:00 to 5:00. Our Instructor Elizabeth Hert will be here. 

• bring your bead work to sit and chat and bead.

• bring a pattern or piece you need some help with, we will do what we can to help you figure it out.

• bring a list of beads you are looking for, or get help with color selections.

• bring questions, we might just have the answer!

Please understand this is an informal get together and we may not be able to address all your challenges during the time allotted, but we will sure try!So come on by and we look forward to seeing you July 9, 2016

June Updates

Hello Beads Unlimited Fans! June will be a busy month for your favorite bead store. 

• We will be going to the Bead and Button June 9th. We expect to find many new treasures for you. The store will be closed Thursday the 9th. 
• The next Class will be June 16th Beautiful Bead Applique, see the classes page, and previous post.
• There will be a sale on Lead Crystal! 20% off our already low prices. June 17 through June 18.
• On the 18th we will have our second "Need to Bead"

New Class ! Bead Applique

Do you ever wonder "What can I do with Bead Applique"?
You can use this technique to embellish quilts, store bought clothing, home decor and found objects.
The Zulu doll in Picture 1 is fully embellished with beads of all kinds, ribbon and found objects.

Picture 2 is a selection of dolls students will use in class. The dolls are complete except for embellishment. They have a pin back and can be used as a Jacket pin or add a chain and wear as a necklace.

 Good needles make beadwork easier. Here is a variety of sizes in one pack for beading. They are the best made. John James from England
