So far the 2014 year has been a challenge. I had a stroke and was hospitalized for a week. I was lucky my balance was the main thing effected. When the weather let's me, the store is open it's regular hours. I am going to be facing a surgery but will put if off until I can't put if off any longer.

October 12th 1:00 to 3:00 Necklace - simple and sophisticated Using Batik bone for the center piece and leather cord students will learn how to use crimps for leather cord. This necklace style is great for men.

Many customers have been asking for classes again. So, the first Monday of the month Beginning
Bead Stringing. Students will make a bracelet and a pair of earrings. The proper way to use the needed tools, correct tension (spacing of beads), making wrapped loop (for earrings), using the crimp tool. Kit includes use of tools, Czech pressed glass beads, clasp, jewelry wire, crimp beads, ear wires, head pins. Class $25.00 Kit $10.00. Class will be 1:00 to 3:00.
Only four students per class, must have a paid reservation to hold place in class.
Have started having customers buying Christmas presents already. Since I was low on finished
jewelry, started making pieces. Here are a few.

The first day of summer with the heat you expect is here, can Fall be far behind?

Have been cleaning out my studio so now for sale at the store: Victorian beads, Victorian braid and appliques. Also 100% cotton fabric - bead designs.
Have several Knitting books now.

NEW CLASS AND SALE
Haven't decided if we are into Spring or Summer. Poor farmers are still trying to get their beans planted.
Because of the number of requests, will start the Beginning Bead Stringing again. The first Monday of every month from 1:00 to 3:00. You must preregister - $25.00 teaching fee, 10.00 kit. You will make a bracelet and a pair of earrings. Class will cover how to use the tools correctly. Crimp tool, wire cutters, round nose, chain nose.
Kit will include 6mm Czech pressed glass beads -Druk, Soft Flex beading wire, clasp, head pins.
Use of tools needed.
If you are wanting a specific class, get a total of 3 students and let me know so we can get a date set up.
Don't forget hours: Tues through Sat. 11:00 to 5:00
Lots of beading books. Have started carrying a few knitting books. Fri. June 28 Books that are full retail will be on SALE for 20% off.
